Iraq, due to a variety of social and economic reasons, has been slow to adopt cash-free banking methods.
Qi wanted to change that.
Qi is Iraq’s national debit card, and it had quite a challenge on its hands. The majority of Iraq’s population has never made a single cash-less transaction in their lives, and even view traditional banks with some suspicion.
But a nation-wide move to a cash-free economy is vital for Iraq’s financial growth, and would hence benefit its residents too.
So, to kick off this grand undertaking, we created a campaign that showed how even a small effort by the regular Iraqi man or woman to go cash-free would have huge impacts on their beloved nation as a whole.
